History & time insights
The History panel helps you re-find pages and understand where your time goes. It needs the optional history permission (one-click grant), and everything is computed on your device.
Rediscover pages
- History is grouped by Today / Yesterday / This Week / Older, in list or card views.
- Search with natural language - “Ask AI or Search history…” - with suggestions like What did I visit today? or Find videos I watched.
- Each entry’s menu can open it (new tab, window, or incognito), copy the URL, or remove it from history, and shows whether it’s bookmarked and how often you’ve visited.
Time analytics
Today’s Pulse and the analytics view turn your history into insight:
- daily screen time,
- a focus / productivity score,
- your peak hours, and
- a per-site breakdown.
These numbers are calculated locally and never leave your device, so they only reflect this browser profile.
Weekly report & caps
InTab can show a once-a-week weekly report (total screen time, week-over-week trend, top categories and sites, and how many days you stayed under your caps). You can set daily caps to keep yourself honest. If you opt in and are signed in, a weekly email digest can send you the aggregate numbers - the underlying sites and URLs never leave your device.
Privacy
History and its analytics are on-device by default. See What InTab sends & keeps.
