Free includes every feature with sensible daily limits: 50+ AI text actions per day, 6 YouTube summaries per day, 10 minutes of dictation per day, and 6,000 text-to-speech characters per day. Pro (from $99/year, 31% cheaper than monthly) makes usage fair-use unlimited - burst and daily ceilings sized so normal use never hits them - adds cross-device cloud sync, and unlocks the website editor.

Yes - 3 days on yearly, 1 day on monthly. A card is required, but cancel anytime within the trial and you're never charged. We remind you inside the extension 24 hours and 1 hour before the first charge.

$99/year (3-day free trial, ~31% cheaper than monthly) or $12/month (1-day free trial). Prices exclude VAT; Paddle, our merchant of record, adds your local VAT/sales tax automatically at checkout.

Only for those specific providers. The chat side panel uses your existing logged-in session at each provider, so a free ChatGPT account works free in InTab. We never resell or proxy provider credentials.

Yes, anything on the Free tier today keeps working at today's limits or better. New paid features are clearly marked, and we won't move existing Free features behind the paywall.

You'll see a small upgrade hint. Wait for the daily reset, or start a Pro trial to remove the limits immediately. We never bill without a clear opt-in.

14-day no-questions-asked refund on the first payment of a new subscription. Refunds are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record; email help@intab.io from the address you paid with, or contact Paddle at paddle.net.

It's honored, forever. Sign in on intab.io, go to Account → Redeem lifetime key, and your account flips to the Lifetime supporter tier, website editor included. The tier is no longer for sale; if you lost your key, email help@intab.io from the address you bought with.

Anonymous feature-usage events (e.g. 'task_created'), extension version, browser version, and coarse country derived from IP (the IP is never stored). No URLs, page content, titles, typed text, or files. Full list at intab.io/privacy.

Yes, one click on the welcome page and again under Options → General → Privacy. When off, no events are sent and any stored ID is removed.

Only on your device, to power the 'Recently visited' widget and unified search. Nothing is uploaded, and you can disable the widget.

Everything you create (sessions, highlights, notes) lives in chrome.storage.local on your machine. When you sign in, highlights sync to your account on any plan; Pro adds full cloud backup of sessions and settings. Synced data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

AI features

Built-in AI (Summarize, Translate, Rewrite, YouTube summary, dictation, text-to-speech) runs on our Groq-powered backend. The chat side panel connects to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity via your own logged-in sessions.

It calls each provider's own endpoints with standard headers, so your existing browser cookies travel with the request, exactly as if you visited the site. The provider's privacy policy applies; we never see, store, or transmit your credentials.

Not yet. InTab's built-in AI runs on our cloud backend today, and the chat panel uses your own logged-in provider sessions. Local model support (Ollama) is on our roadmap.

Yes. We use the video's own publicly-available transcript that YouTube serves to its player. No copyrighted content is stored on our servers.

Tabs & sync

No. Tabs are dimmed, not closed. Clicking restores forms, scroll position, and logged-in sessions exactly where you left them.

Free keeps sessions on a single device. Pro syncs session backups to your account - encrypted in transit and at rest - available on any browser where you sign in.

Never. We only show tabs in search and widgets, suspend (dim) them if you enable that, and save the set when you click 'Save session'.

Compatibility

Chrome and any Chromium-based browser (Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera, Vivaldi), plus Firefox - official listings on the Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Opera stores. A Safari version is on the way.

Chrome on Android doesn't support extensions, so the extension can't run there. The intab.io web app gives a read-only view of your synced sessions on mobile.

Yes, if you allow it in chrome://extensions. By default incognito profiles are isolated and InTab doesn't read those tabs.

No. InTab loads lazily and does its heavy work only when you actually open a feature, and auto-suspend typically frees 1 to 3 GB of RAM - so most browsers get faster on net.

Every interactive element is keyboard-reachable, and we test with VoiceOver and NVDA. High-contrast theme available; right-to-left layouts ship in 30+ languages.
