The command palette
The command palette is the fastest way to get around InTab. Press Ctrl/Cmd + K (or ?) on the new tab to open it, then type.
What you can do
The palette blends three things into one fuzzy search:
- Navigate - jump to any panel: AI, Tabs, Bookmarks, History, Tools, Settings.
- Run actions - take a screenshot, toggle ambient noise, save your tabs, open the AI panel, open the camera Mirror, switch theme, or open the full options page.
- Find anything - the same engine as unified search: open tabs, saved groups, bookmarks, reading list, history, downloads, highlights, and past chats, grouped under clear headers.
- Jump to a setting - the entire settings catalog is searchable; picking a result opens that section and flashes the exact control.
Tips
- Recently used, stable picks are remembered and float to the top.
- Commands for panels you’ve hidden won’t appear until you re-enable those panels.
- The palette’s Ask AI agent (asking it to do something rather than open something) is a Pro/Max feature; on the free plan you’ll be prompted to upgrade.
For searching your data specifically from within a panel, see Unified search & Ask AI.
