Visible, full-page & area capture

InTab captures screenshots in three modes, each with its own hotkey. Trigger them from the keyboard, the toolbar popup’s Page tools, the new tab, or the command palette.

The three modes

For Selected Area, click and drag to draw a box (a live width × height label follows the cursor); press Esc to cancel.

Full-page stitching

For Entire Page, InTab locks scrolling, hides sticky/floating elements so they don’t repeat, scrolls the page in chunks, and stitches them into one tall image. Progress is shown in the popup so it doesn’t end up in the screenshot. Extremely tall pages are scaled to fit the browser’s maximum canvas size; if a page is simply too large, you’ll get a clear “too tall to capture” message.

Where captures go

By default a capture is copied to your clipboard and downloaded at the same time. A toast with a thumbnail confirms “Saved & copied” and offers Edit in Editor and (if a download failed) Download original.

You can turn on Auto Open Editor so every capture goes straight into the annotation editor instead - see Annotate & export. You can also pin a capture as a floating thumbnail to reference while you keep working.

Filenames

In the screenshot settings you control the filename: a prefix, whether to include the site, date, and time, and the separator. Paid plans can also generate a short AI descriptive name based on the image.

Note

Copying to the clipboard can silently fail on insecure (http) or unfocused pages - the download still saves your capture in that case.
