Annotate & export

Every capture can open in InTab’s annotation editor. Turn on Auto Open Editor in the screenshot settings to route captures there automatically, or click Edit in Editor from the capture toast.

Tools

  • Arrow - point at what matters.
  • Text - add labels and callouts.
  • Rectangle and Highlight - frame or emphasize an area.
  • Magnifier - zoom in on a detail.
  • Redact - black out sensitive info.
  • Blur - soften private details without a hard block.
  • Crop - trim to just the part you need.
  • Select - move and adjust what you’ve added.

You can also combine captures - grab another region and drop it onto the current canvas - and manage everything as layers.

Styling

Give the shot a polished look with an adjustable background, shadow, rounded corners, and padding. Your preferences are remembered between captures.

Export

Save to PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, or PDF. For the lossy formats you can set a quality level. An in-progress edit is kept per-tab, so reloading the same page won’t lose your work.

Smart Screenshots (Pro)

Pro and Max plans add AI touches in the editor - including Smart Screenshot actions and AI-generated file names. See AI usage limits explained.
